About Michele Guy
Michele Guy, P.E., P.L.S. is a land development consultant who has been based in Southern Arizona since 1983. She specializes in Consulting and Project Management, providing options and feasibility, conceptual design, scheduling, cost estimates, value engineering and design review oversight. Her strong relationships with the Government agencies and understanding of the public process ensures effective and expeditious plan review and approval. Her well-established ties within the community, ensures smooth project realization with respect for the interests of the neighboring and affected property owners. Her greatest strength lies in Project Management, using state-of-the art technology in combination with old-fashioned common sense and communicating, coordinating, planning and problem solving toward successful project completion, both on time and within budget.
Miss Guy’s 27 years of experience includes working internationally in the aerial cableway industry for major ski resorts and utility companies throughout North America and France and in the coastal engineering industry with private clients, major resorts and the major Cruise lines throughout the Caribbean. All of her work on development projects in Southern Arizona, for national and local home builders and private commercial clients has been acquired solely based on her reputation in the professional community.
MAJOR PROJECTS:
- 1993 - Managed the design, fabrication, construction and installation of the single largest free span of cable in the world for the United States Department of Defense.
- 2002 – Effected a rezoning and performed the engineering design for Habitat for Humanity’s first subdivision in southern Arizona.
- 2007 – Project Director for the Passages of Tucson, a 400-acre mixed-use development in Tucson, Arizona.
